Someday, people will want to compose epic ballads about
my life. When they finally get down to it, I figured a blog like this one would make good reference material.

Perhaps, in the extravagance
of youth, we give away our
devotions easily and all but
arbitrarily, on the mistaken
assumption that we’ll always
have more to give."
- Michael Cunningham

underachievers please try harder

i think we ought to send in a proposal to the producers of the documentary series 'i shouldnt be alive' with a new episode idea-in view of today's chemistry test (which i have managed to flunk, spectacularly of course).

Lead me to the cross
Where Your love poured out
Bring me to my knees
Lord I lay me down
Rid me of myself
I belong to You
Lead me, lead me to the cross

opening theme for nabari no ou, which ive been looking forward
to (but i dont really like the main character D<).

whoooooo! we got into film cluster! :D:D:D <-- trademark shu
praise the Lord! perhaps it was for the better that all our previous proposals were rejected (for the uninformed, shu and i submitted a record total of 4 RS proposals this year). i thank God that He would not let me spend two years in RS miserable. a few years ago (heck, even a few months back) i wouldnt have imagined myself applying for anything non-academic but, well x) its probably better this way.

and i passed NAPFA! :O:O:O
unbelievable. xD

[to the cars passing by while walking down the sidewalk on a rainy afternoon] If you splash my textbooks and wet my worksheets again, I'll hunt you down and scratch your car D< dont you forget.

...

the way has been lost,
but i never ever want to lose sight of You.

the next time you see one of those silly rain-soaked romance scenes (recycled and re-recycled waste) dont buy one second of it. there is absolutely nothing romantic about being soaked down to your unmentionables, defying la nina in the name of i-love-you-(not)

of course, they never show you the part where the couple gets splashed with water that has overflowed from the drains while walking down the pavement by the roadside, when a truck full of Bangladeshi nationals (hooting at the top of their lungs) speeds past. or the part where the couple has to wade across a pedestrian crossing flooded with muddy water to a height above the ankle (unidentifiable floating objects thrown in, free-of-charge).

my traveling aquarium-cum-school shoes will willingly attest.
