Someday, people will want to compose epic ballads about my life. When they finally get down to it, I figured a blog like this one would make good reference material.
Perhaps, in the extravagance
of youth, we give away our devotions easily and all but arbitrarily, on the mistaken assumption that we’ll always have more to give." - Michael Cunningham

Mosaic Music Festival 2010! A hole in my pocket and two tickets in hand,
This year, seeing that an unprecedented number of my favourite musicians are coming to town for the Mosaic Music Festival (ILU TPTB), I took an advance on my ang pow money (yes, I am living on credit) to buy two tickets (/TO SHOW MY FIERCE AND UNDYING SUPPORT): one to see the Kings of Convenience, ![]() and the other, St. Vincent. ![]() If you thought the first come first served CCA sign-up system was bad, you would not believe how fast all the student tickets for the Kings of Convenience gig sold out. Ticket sales opened today and by 7pm there were none left. Now there's a Life Lesson I learnt the costly way ): Many swears, much middle-class ranting, and a pair of jelly-legs later... ![]() Nevertheless, you could say I am feeling right chuffed about now. Nightmare-inducing costs incurred blacked out/not shown for your ensured viewing pleasure (read: PLEASE, NO MORE REMINDERS D|). ![]() Hurhur, you bet your ass I will. I sincerely hope the value of my Mosaic experience will far exceed its cost, because for the next few weeks it will be a Spartan's life for me.
